DBX - Songs for the Wrong (2003)

DBX - Songs for the Wrong (2003)

DBX - Songs For The Wrong

Produced by Adam Green and DBX
Metal Blade Records (2003)
Catalogue number 3984-14443-2

The second "real" album from Dave Brockie Experience features not only longer songs than previously, but also more musically advanced tracks. Still, don't expect DBX to go all scientific on you, the overall goofieness is still there and intact! And thankfully so! Current GWAR-member Cory Smoot is featured on "extra crazy guitar" on the track He's Going Crazy! and songs Dog Log and Hey Buddy are tracks that are hailing from the Death Piggy days. Basically unreleased tracks from the legendary days of Death Piggy, that is. And, as if the normal "sillypunk" of DBX wasn't enough, they actually tap into different musical styles here as well. Medieval Werewolf is as close to surf music as these degenerates will ever get, and Isn't It Grand Boys? is somewhat of an irish sing-along styled song, albeit in DBX trademarked fashion.
